The Role and Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator / Programmer to join our growing manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components for the racing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and operate CNC machinery including:
- Haas 3+2 CNC milling machine
- Doosan twin-spindle lathe with bar feeder
- CNC router
- Create and modify tool paths using SolidCAM software.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure quality control through accurate measurement and inspection.
- Maintain machinery, tools, and workspace in top working order.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain consistent output quality.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist, operator, or programmer.
- Proficiency in SolidCAM or similar CAM software.
- Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in motorsport or high-performance manufacturing.
- Knowledge of CAD design.
- Trade qualification in machining, manufacturing, or related field.
