The Role and Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator / Programmer to join our growing manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components for the racing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate CNC machinery including:
  • Haas 3+2 CNC milling machine
  • Doosan twin-spindle lathe with bar feeder
  • CNC router
  • Create and modify tool paths using SolidCAM software.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure quality control through accurate measurement and inspection.
  • Maintain machinery, tools, and workspace in top working order.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain consistent output quality.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a CNC machinist, operator, or programmer.
  • Proficiency in SolidCAM or similar CAM software.
  • Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience in motorsport or high-performance manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of CAD design.
  • Trade qualification in machining, manufacturing, or related field.
